Model Duty

modelpost-1024x768

Another day on the grind for my talent.  ”Model Duty” is what I like to call it! Words can’t express how hard I work and sacrifice for my clients pockets to get fatty. I been doing this for about a while now and never could have imagine that I would be the one making the deals.  It took a long time for me to get here!

I’ve been modeling since 16 on and off due to desires of working the business elements of the fashion & beauty industry to now becoming a talent manager.  Being a Bo$$ isn’t easy, you have to know what’s best for your clients while handling all the office and marketing stuff.

Many times we believe that we know what’s right for us but sometimes it takes others to give us a little push for us to see the gift and talent in ourselves. That’s how this career chose me! Image and video hosting by TinyPic

My Makeup Essentials from M.A.C. Cosmetics

IMG_0258

As a makeup artist I’ve always been a fan of M.A.C. Cosmetics.  They are one of the best companies if not the only cosmetic company around that caters to professional makeup artist.  I was running low on a few favorite products I like to use from M.A.C. so I stopped by one of my local Pro M.A.C. cosmetics stores at Lincoln Mall, South Beach.   Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Hello Spring!

IMG_0780

Today was such an amazing day. The weather was so gorgeous out that I felt inspired to wear my favorite Cotton On Baby doll dress paired with a cute little gold and cream belt that I purchased from Forever21.  It was a bit cool out in Sunny South Florida,  so I wore a jean jacket that I also got at Forever21

Spring 2013 Beauty Trend: Electric Hues

Spring 2013 beauty is all about bright colors and electric hues. As seen on the runway of Giles, fuchsia lips are all the rave. Unfortunately, Giles neglected to add this pop of color to the models of a darker complexion. I guess they felt that the color may be a bit too overwhelming or it’s just not that flattering. Well I’m here to show you that as a women of color, it can be done!

Street Style via Alejandro

Since the start of my style blogging career, I’ve gotten the chance to work with a few great street style  photographers one being Alejandro. I had such a blast shooting this look.  We shot on Miami Beach also know as “South Beach”. Inspired by “Business women glam leaving the office on her way to Happy Hour”   . . .lol. . . !  I wore a black vintage skirt I got from a small boutique a while back paired with my favorite silk leopard top.  Finishing off the outfit with Charles David foot wear and a black leather evening clutch.
